Key Takeaway

The crisis along our southern border has reached epic proportions. Our national security and the safety of everyone living in the United States is at risk.

The immigration crisis at the southern US border has reached epic proportions. Our national security and the safety of the citizens of the United States are at risk. We need to enforce and strengthen existing laws, properly secure our borders, and stop dangerous, criminal, and terrorist groups from exploiting our weaknesses and entering our country illegally.

This crisis can only be stopped in one way: Electing enough Republican Congressmen to re-take control of the House and increase the number of Republicans in the Senate.

The Numbers

U.S. Customs and Border Protection recently confirmed what experts have long predicted based on official estimates: Over 103,000 undocumented immigrants attempted to illegally cross our southern border in March 2019. The number of illegal arrests tripled in March compared to those taken only a year ago.

The February numbers were equally staggering, with 76,000 illegals attempting to cross the border in that month alone, an 11-year high.

If the problem persists at this rate, we could see more than 1.2 million illegal and inadmissible immigrants cross into the United States by the end of 2019.

America Has Compassion

America has always been a beacon for the downtrodden of the world, and legal immigrants to this country helped build it into the greatest country in the world today.

Americans themselves are compassionate people. According to government reports, USAID provided over 50 billion dollars of assistance to foreign countries in 2018 alone.

However, we are also a nation of laws and a nation that became great by respecting those laws and the rights of its citizens to live in a stable, law-abiding country. No country can remain stable without border control and a clear of understanding and documentation of who is crossing into the country.

Failing to maintain control of our borders is failing to respect the rights of the citizens of the United States and the threatening the future of this great country.

The Threat

MS-13 Gang Member
Despite the media narrative, MS-13 exists and is not just a fairy tale.

Criminal

Despite mainstream media suppression, we have all heard the horror stories. Every day there are reports of the rapes, murders, and child abuse crimes committed by illegal immigrants.

Too often, these murderers and rapists are deported only to reenter illegally two, three, and countless more times because of our porous borders.

If the border was secured in the manner that it should be, the perpetrators of these crimes never would have passed their initial screening and been allowed to enter the country to commit these horrendous acts.

Potential Terrorists and Counter Intelligence

One of the most disconcerting reports came from Rio Grande Valley Sector Chief Patrol Agent Rodolfo Karisch, who testified earlier this week in front of the Senate Homeland Security Committee.

Agent Karisch reported that, in his sector alone, his agents had arrested people not only from Central and South America but from more than 50 different countries, including illegal immigrants from the Middle East and China.

When questioned as to the severity of the present situation, Karisch, a 30-year Border Patrol veteran, stated: “I have never witnessed the conditions we are currently facing on the southwest border.”

The Cost

One year flow of illegal immigration costs taxpayers a staggering $168-180 billion over the illegal aliens’ lifetimes according to the Center for Immigration Studies methodology.

The Real Problem

Votes and Party Support at ALL Costs.

One of the biggest impediments to securing our border and the future of our nations is the Democratic party.

Despite the extreme danger of the situation, Democrats – elected officials whose duty it is to put the concerns of the American people first – continue to ignore and obfuscate the facts, generally pretending that the crisis does not exist.

In fact, several prominent Democrats, including Keith Ellison, Deputy Democratic National Committee Chair (DNC) have implicitly gone so far as to endorse open borders.

The Democrat’s insistence on this matter is pitiable, and it could easily be likened to the antics of the infamous Mohammed Saeed al-Sahaf, better known as “Baghdad Bob.”

Baghdad Bob amused the media and the world with his insistence that there was no crisis in Iraqi during U.S.-led Iraqi invasion in 2003. These statements were made on Baghdad TV, while cruise missiles destroyed military targets and allied forces were taking control of the country in the very background of the shot.

The Solution

President Trump Speaking about Illegal Immigration
A President trying to Deliver on Campaign Promises.

Democratic officials have made it abundantly clear that they no longer believe in compromise or bi-partisanship on these and any other matters, and the progressive wing of the party is now in full control.

Democrats in Congress will not stop until they have obtained complete amnesty for all illegal immigrants currently residing in this country and will kill any proposed legislation or funding to protect our borders.

We need to take back our country and stop illegal immigration by regaining Republican control of the House and strengthening Republican control of the Senate.

To quote one of the greatest American Conservative thinkers in our great nation’s history:

“A nation that cannot control its borders is not a nation.”
